The Triskel (Triskelion) is an ancient symbol that lies at the heart of all our work at the school.

It can be worked with in many different ways, and over many years we’ve developed a powerful yet simple framework of working with it by dreaming into the weavings of plant, pilgrim and server (herbalist is an aspect of server, as is artist).

In essence, the plant aspect encompasses the entire consciousness of the plant and the ecosystem it grows in.

The pilgrim is the part of us moving towards the plant, seeking healing, insight, vision, reflection or support.

The server is the part of us that is holding and facilitating the meeting of plant and pilgrim. Professionally this is me as ‘herbalist’, personally it might be thought of as my adult or soul-self holding space for my child-self… though there are many other ways to explore this as well as that model.

This page is one section of our online introduction course and is one of eight powerful gateways into deeper plant connection.
